After a scorching summer of festival shows across the UK with the full band. Toby Barelli aka KING SIZE SLIM plays some vibe-y club autumn solo shows. Meanwhile , pre-production sessions have started for the next KSS album , working title ‘Betta Getta’. Using natural room reverbs and some clever mic-ing rather than soul-less outboard gear seems to be the theme of the sessions so far…. recording piano parts from an adjacent room is nothing unusual , nor are washboard snare drums or burnt out valve amps.
