November '14 New Cellar Session video

Its been a big year for KING SIZE SLIM, with a British Blues Award win, choice festival and club shows throughout the year including Love Supreme , The 100 Club and The Blues Kitchen in Camden and Shoreditch. Support shows for Son Of Dave, Paul Lamb and the KIng Snakes and The James Hunter Six along with a whole barrel of national and international radio play. A transition has been made from ‘busy gigging’ to ‘in demand’ with The London Gig Guide labelling KING SIZE SLIM as a “Shameless Favourite”.
A new series of ‘Cellar Sessions’ videos are being uploaded over the last part of the year giving a sneaky peak at tracks from the new album as well live versions of tracks from ‘MILK DRUNK’ released back in October ’13.
Sessions are now under way at the beautiful Rimshot Studios in Kent for the new onamatopoeically entitled album ‘Chuka Chuka’ with a Spring ’15 release date on Treehouse 44 records planned along with promotional UK and European dates.
These shows start in ernest in January with a series of double bill shows with Treehouse 44 stable-mate and session player legend Skip ‘Little axe’ McDonald. Skip played guitar on many early Rap tracks as part of the Sugar Hill Records house band including the classic Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five track ‘The Message’.
