August 2014 has seen KING SIZE SLIM performing festivals up and down the UK and across the channel in France with a hard-working 24 shows in 31 days. Gloucester Blues Festival saw two very well received solo shows as did Broadstairs Folk Week. The trio line-up travel to Picardie, France for an exclusive show in mid-august at Celebration Days Festival, other August shows include Faversham Hop Fest, also the souths best kept secret ‘Small World Solar Festival’ and a return to the Blues Kitchen Shoreditch for a special guest support slot for James Hunter Six.
Sessions for the next KING SIZE SLIM album to be released on Treehouse 44 have started.Toby and the band have been having a lot of fun experimenting with back-line, percussion and instrumentation during these sessions. Production is scheduled for November with a spring ’15 release.
