Following international and UK radio play and an upcoming feature in ‘BLUES MAGAZINE” The British Blues Awards have nominated KING SIZE SLIM for the ‘Emerging Artist’ Category for this years awards. Heres what they have to say about it….
“We are pleased to announce the addition of a new category to the British Blues Awards for “Emerging Artist of the Year”.
To arrive at the shortlist we asked our team of Participating Broadcasters to nominate talented artists who, in their opinion were not well known on the national Blues scene but deserve wider exposure.”
The winner of the category will be chosen by open public vote beginning in May. This comes at a good time for KING SIZE SLIM with the album ‘MILK DRUNK’ receiving daily airplay across Europe and the IBBA listing it a one of the best albums of the year. Recent London shows have proved that the band can ‘kick it’ in the big smoke as well as the provinces and as a result festival gigs in the UK and Europe are penned into the KSS diary.
