The beginning of May saw KING SIZE SLIM play two wonderfully received shows ,Rochester Sweeps Festival and Maidstone Festival the former as a full-band friday night groover taking over Rochesters’ famous ‘Man Of Kent Alehouse , the latter in Maidstone as a solo support for genuine legend and lovely chap Geno Washington.
Coming up in the rest of May. theres the last of three instalments of the KSS ‘2nd Sundays Spring Residency’ at the Albion,Old Town Hastings. this months very special guest is Wah-Wah 45s artist Bev Lee Harling. Following on from their sold-out show at Pizza Express Live Soho back in February, everybody from KSS is very happy to be teaming up with Bev again for a home-town show.
Recording sessions are booked for the end of May for tracking three new original songs for a forthcoming release. The sessions will feature the full live line-up of Double Bass, Resonator Guitar and the perculiar KSS two percussionist line-up.
